Our Story

Community First United Methodist Church is a new congregation meeting in Carrollton, GA. The church was officially constituted by Bishop Robin Dease, resident bishop of the North Georgia Conference, on January 28, 2024. The members of the church have come together to advance the cause of Jesus Christ by sharing his love in our community and throughout the world.

The first gathering took place December 3, 2023 at Moore’s Chapel United Methodist Church’s Christian Life Center, also known as “The Lighthouse.” Without the support of this historic congregation, Community First would not be where it is today.

Immediately, this congregation began to share God’s love with the local community through mission projects that reach beyond the walls of the building and into the heart of our community. God’s love is for ALL His children and ALL are invited, ALL are welcome.
